AnswerPlus President Wins Award for Ethics

Toronto, ON – October 18, 2002: The President of AnswerPlus Inc, Paul Lloyd, was awarded the prestigious Tom Ryan Award for Ethics, Integrity, and Quality Above All at the Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X) in Nassau, Bahamas. 

The selection committee, composed of business and community leaders, chose Mr. Lloyd in recognition of his dedication to ethical business practices, a progressive working environment, and his contributions to the business community, volunteerism and community events. “I was speechless,” said Lloyd, “being recognized for such a prestigious award is an incredible honour”. 

Mr. Lloyd is a long-standing member of the Hamilton, Burlington, and Mississauga Chambers of Commerce. He is a strong supporter of Ronald McDonald House and an active board member of the Victorian Order of Nursing (VON.) Lloyd has given his time as a Director at the Hamilton Volunteer Centre, to Telecare and to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, where he currently serves as Director. 

Paul Lloyd, President and Chief Executive Officer of AnswerPlus took over the company in 1976. He owns the PasWord group of companies, which consists of PasWord Paging, PasWord Protection, and AnswerPlus. Considered a Pioneer in the telecommunications industry, particularly the Cellular, Paging, and Long-Distance Businesses, Lloyd is described as a risk-taker, who is always at the forefront of the industry.
